Gas Piping Installation

We take a long-term approach to any installation job we do. That includes using quality material that will hold up to the wear of time, and making sure the installation work meets or exceeds industry standards in terms of organization and attention to detail, so that any necessary maintenance can be completed quickly and easily, saving you costs for the entire lifetime of your system. We also discuss any gas equipment you may want to add to your gas piping system to ensure we size your piping to accommodate future needs. Request your gas piping installation estimate today and High Mark Heating & Cooling will get you taken care of.

We Always Put Safety & Quality First

When it comes to gas piping, safety is especially important. Carbon Monoxide detectors are required for houses that have either an attached garage, fireplace, gas heater or appliance and they need to be installed within 10 feet of each room used for sleeping.  We recommend a combination Gas & Carbon Monoxide Alarm and don’t forget to have the appropriate type of fire extinguisher for your kitchen and furnace rooms. Be sure to check your fire extinguisher(s) every January 1st to make sure they are still pressurized. We will help you work with the City or State inspector to get your gas piped system inspected twice – both before and after hookup. When you work with High Mark Heating & Cooling you’re treated like family and we always put safety & quality first!

What To Do If You Smell Gas

If you smell gas, and no stove burners were left on, evacuate the house as quickly as possible and call 9-1-1. Then, call your natural gas provider (your utility). Please note: a utility does not provide propane.

What to do if you smell gas and a burner was inadvertently left in the “on” position:

• Immediately turn off the burner.

• Do extinguish any flames that are lit.

• Turn on the range hood fan to the highest setting.

• Do not ignite any flame in the house (like cigarettes or candles) .

• Do not turn on appliances, light switches, or your car (if in an attached garage or near your house).

• Open all the windows and doors to air out your house.

• If you can, get everyone, including your pets, out of the house while your house gets flushed with fresh air.
